Thanks guys. Well what i was going for was old 50's drag so I built a custom drop axle like they would have back in the day. I use a 2:1 steering box with heim ends and tierods out of 3/8 round stock tapped to the length I need. For the controls I made 90 degree bend and capped them for the foot pegs. next I thought of contols. I wanted a steering wheel better looks the handle bars. So hand controls wouldnt just look right. so I thought like a motorcycle shift and rear brake pegs. so i drilled and sleeved the footpegs for my custom made conrols. then I welded the steering bearing between the footpegs and gusseted for strength. :hot: I painting it metal flake candy red with gloss black highlights

Do you have part numbers for the parts used for the steering? THNX--Billy

well the box is a standard 2:1 box a got from a guy that used to work with at my dads shop and the tie rods are just built from round stock and heim are standard 7/16.

I think it's awesome! It is very different! The only thing that would make it better would be chrome wheels with the baby moon's, that would be killer!
