Does anyone know who sells a Frame for a 6 Wheel BSR/Cooler Racer like this one?
You can't see it in this picture, but there is a Bar Stool in front of the Cooler for the Driver to sit. The 2 front wheels are used for steering, and the 4 back wheels are driven.

I wouldn't think that thing would turn very well. I could build you one but being a one off it wouldn't be cheap unless there were some interest for more than one.

I found the plans at http://wvlocator.com/WV_Locator/Barstool_Bar_Stool_Racer_Plans.html
Here is a picture from that website.

This looks exactly like the one I posted a picture of at the start of the thread. Only the cooler added. A friend bought the frame for the one with cooler on eBay for around $100 but I can't find one listed on there.
I may have to try to get my brother to build one if I can't find one already made.
As for turning, his turns fine. I thought it would have a problem also, but it doesn't seem to.

I don't see the need for the extra axle, wheels, and expense. Parts are not cheap for these things. Are you planning a two-seater for large folks or are you just after the "look?" It would also just take up that much more garage space.

In my high school creative writing class about a dozen years ago, we had to do an essay in class about a simple one-word subject...."Why?" No limit or minimum on words or overall content, it just had to be done in 45 minutes. Being the consummate slacker that I was, I wrote a two word response, and went to sleep. Ended up getting a B. The answer to that question, and the reason that I, and many others, do and build not only BSRs, but anything that's innovative and creative and different, is "Why Not?"

Lol of course it would. You have another set of wheels. But if it starts to tip you better have some strong strong legss. lol.

It looks like it would go great in a straight line, but try to get the thing to turn would be a mission.
It would push big time with two axles driving.

I think it might work if you put the stool in front of the steering column. Then you might be able to make a corner.

I myself can't see a need for another wheel set other than looks and having something differant in which thats cool doing your own thing ,but why spend the money on another chain and spocket to drive the rear axle you gain nothing driving that axle , you get the same thing just leaving it a free wheeler, just my two cents .

this is very true. There will also be a pretty significant loss in power trying to drive that second set of wheels.

neverdone ,thats right lose of power and money thats why if I was goining to do something like that I would just leave it a free wheeler on the rear axle
