Still in the process of rounding up parts for my BSR...Picked up a TAV 2 pretty cheap and I noticed that for it to fit on my 6.5 Honda clone that It has to be tilted down at least one bolt hole and maybe two. Is this common, and will it still work with Mike's BSR plans?
Thanks for all the help.

I dont have a answer to your question but I have a second question you or someone who knows may answer. Do you have to rotate the TAV 2 down for clearance issues on the motor or just so the bolt holes will line up?? Could any of this be fixed by drilling new holes in the TAV 2????

Can anyone help on this one?

tk20fan : I would use 4 bolts like was supplied with the unit or risk breaking the mounting plate.

CJM : The mounting bracket came with multiple holes in it. I do believe that it is for clearance issues on the motor.

I use clone motors and I just drill new holes unless the customer wants it to tilt down.

I HAD A SIMILAR ISSUE ON THE TAV 2, ON MY 6.5 TECUMUSI,
THERE WAS A BOLT HEAD IN THE WAY OF THE MOUNTING PLATE, SO i KNOTCHED THE PLATE WHERE THE BOLT HEAD WAS, AND ALL WORKED OUT NICE AND STRAIT.
