So you guys bolt the stool on? I was thinking those weird ampersand shaped pins. and the stool always goes inside the frame fitting? I like the "shadow look of the stoll siting ousside the frame weldments.

Guy,
I think most people bolt the barstool to the frame with leg mounts that are welded to the frame and you set the barstool legs into them.
I would not recommend welding the barstool to the frame because you may need to remove it for access to the engine, or even replace it if you tip and bend it up.

I know that there would be no way to get my engine out without removing stool on my bsr. But if you could find a way to make it look like it was just sitting there that would be way cool.

I found pipe that slid snug up into my barstool legs and ran it up a few inches. Makes it look like the stool is just there. The biggest pain in the a** was getting the angle matched so that the stool slid on and off the mounts. With some chrome bolts it should look like the stool is just setting on the frame.

Nice... that's what I'm talking about, that "dangerous" look.
Stool just sitting there....

This is about the best pic that I have of the stool mounts right now. You can see the mounts on the front legs that are setting up a bit.

hi, if the barstool legs are hollow you could get pipe to fit inside it snug, drill a hole and use a pin or bolt to put it on. your only problem would be seeng the bolt. just an idea.
