Well after over a year of researching the crap out of BSRs and lining up all websites that I was gonna buy all the parts from, my father won't let me build it:angry:. Wish he would have told me this before I acquired my engine and stool but whatever. I hope this forum sticks around for 5 more years when I'm done with college.

Well that sucks!! That is why I didn't build mine before, I wanted to build mine when I was a senior in High School but pops said no!! He also said no to almost everything that I do now..... Hmmm noticing some sort of trend now in my life!! LOL

There will be plenty of time to do the things you want to do. Get your education, become an engineer and design your own line of parts and make a killing. I had to wait until all the kids were out of the house to build mine. But I'm having fun now.

Bummer, fleebag... I built mine as a father/ son project 3 years ago to introduce my son to fabrication. Got him off the X-box and into the shop, where he's building grinding rails and rib racks with me for fun... along with riding HIS barstool! If all else fails, stick to your education, it'll pay dividends!

My father told me; "You can do anything you like, as long as you don't get caught!" An old Army soliloquy (saying) during WW2 no doubt.
I have found having fun isn't easy work.
