I made my son a go-kart with that engine, 12 tooth clutch and a 60 tooth drive sprocket and a 10" wheel.
On paper it should have done 35mph @3500 rpm (no govenor) but it did do about 28 on a flat road. but when you are 9 years old that is hauling butt!!
belive me it will go fast enough. just hang on.
you need to learn how to weld! i tought my son to weld when he was 8 years old!:thumb:
GOOD LUCK

hey mini, im twelve too. ive started welding. its not that hard. just have an adult looking over you when you first start. i dont see why you wont just get a 6.5 from a guy on ebay shipped to your door for about 220. good luck with your project. oh woodchucks and mikes and outlawracing frames are the best if you havnt ordered one yet. are you gonna run 1-1/4" or 1"?

Hey mini-me, If your engine says 206 on it and it has the bolt on exhaust not threaded it will accept racing 5hp raptor headers. I believe there is part in this link about the headers: http://www.diggersdungeon.cc/upgrade.html
Have you gotten your frame yet and added parts?
