I am still looking for a pair of small shocks like the ones used on the rear of the gas powered scooters. I want to fabracate A-frames for the front of my "Beer Truck". Also need some Negra Modelo (black Model) signs or stickers for the side of the cooler. Thanks for the help.........Terry

Try an E-bay search "rockshox 511d" . They are less than 4" long eye to eye. rockshox builds a few other 511 models that are pretty short

Terry...I got 4 from a e-bay store that has all components of bicycles...I bought mountain bike aluminum coilovers for $1.50 each....yes....$1.50ea....compare to performance shocks and make your choice...I couldnt find a shock for less than $50ea elsewhere and one guy wanted $450 for a high performance adjustable air shock...these are ones I recently used on my wagon...They come with stiff springs that vary between 300 and 750lb....the application is a compound cantalevered load so the high spring rate....

Damm thats cheap, I may get some for some future project, that I havn't even thought of yet, but I do that all the time. They will show up while Im out to sea, and my wife will have a hell of a time trying figure out what they are for. But she cant tell what half the stuff I have in the garage is anyway.

Here are some pics of a suspended Radio Flyer, maybe yall can use these for ideas. I emailed that guy with the shocks and he said he will sell a set of 4 for $28 shipped. That way you dont have to win 4 auctions and all of that.

Monkey...I have not spet this much time staring at pics in a while...I love the design details...all of them....I can see the hours of thought to make the details work...where did you get those shocks?....can you get away without a front panhard bar? Does the angle of the shocks keep the axle centered?..I am partial to the Honda clone also....where did you get a 420 rear sprocket an hub?...Have you ever seen Big Daddy Roths WagonMister?...I met him once before he died....surf for it and compare your wagon......if you don't know what I am saying...you are in for a treat...good stuff....don't forget functional wheelie bars...u will need them

I did not build this wagon, i just ran across the pics of it on the net. I save all the pics I find for my future reference.

I have a bunch of pics of the Wagon meister as well. Its pretty cool and thats what gave me the idea to build my wagon in the first place.

His username on eBay is Biketony007 and his email is questionsbiketony@acbtrader.com. He has several on eBay all the time, with red and black springs.

Thanks monkey, I have obtained one from him for $9 + shipping and am biding on another. I chose the 750 lb black ones for my beer truck. Still thinking about the A frames. right now I am planning on one A frame at the bottom on each side with a spindle bracket welded on. Then the shock mounted on top and going to a bracket on the frame. They would look like a McPherson strut (sorta). And for sure tandem axles in the rear. Question there is do I drive both axles?? Thanks again..........Terry
