Hey we need a logo for this place. Something we can make a decal or t shirt out of .

So we can spread the word. This is to cool of a place to not show it off.

So What do you think?

I am all for it! However I am not a graphic designer myself. I can do enough to make a simple site and that's about it.

Do you know anyone that would like to domate their time to work on a logo? I think the t-shirts would be also a great idea.

Cool . Well i do graphic art and don't mind coming up with a logo. But I wanted to see what kind of idea the members here have in mind. So if anyone could come up with a drawing or something . remember it doesn't have to be great art . Most of my ideas start out on a napkin in crayon. Just take a pic or something so all of us can see it . And if any of you are graphic artist then do you magic. The only thing is stay away form photo art. keep it simple and clean. So lets throw some ideas around. Hey mbean. I started this post here and maybe it should be on the front page so new members will see it. if you can move it or start one again that would be great .

Also I had an idea for a logo in my head of a bar stool spinning the back wheels and the front end up in the air with a little smoke from the back tires.

I just had another thought... I have the domain name barstoolperformance.com that redirects to this website also.

This could be an optional name for a t-shirt design.

how about a little BSR popping a wheelie, with a little tire smoke like mbean said. put some text round it like in a circle. i think it would look bad a**. i would put a Bar Fly Racer sticker on my BSR with out question:)

i tried to draw something but it looked worse than what my 3yr old cousen draws:? heh

I was on this site and it had a drawing of a chicken on a bar stool racer. Pretty cool and could be something to start out with.

Does anyone know what site that was? I can not find it. I think the site went down. I have a favorite book marked for Big Chicken Barstool Racing.

i like logos that are just basic, ya know, 1 or 2 colors not too much to the eye.

Hey Warpaint,

I would prefer to leave of the "www".

What font are you using for the text? I have been using Tahoma for the above logo. Can you take my logo above and add the bar stool racer guy to it? I can send you a PSD if you need?

Also how about a transparent gif? Or can you send me a PSD so I can adapt it to the various style sheets I am going to add?

i like the first one with the WWW. on it, that design would make a good rear window sticker on our cars and trucks, maybe even a barstool if find a place to put it.

here are 2 logo's i played with in MSpaint. i couldent do anything fancey with the text like photoshop or some other program would, but i guessed it would give some more ideas on the design.

I guess I dont like the www because I don't like to type them. I have setup the server to accept the domain name with or without the www's. It will also save some space for other stuff to be added.

Atleast we got something going here. I will look into merging the images together and post a link for everyone.

I have done a lot of website logo's. And some don't like the www and some think that it isn't a web address without it. My thinking is that by now everyone knows that if you see the .com you know what it is. And it does cut down on how long the art looks. I have done some long web address.
Maybe tomorrow I will plot me out what we have so far and see what it looks like on my Van.

I like what you are working on Warpaint. Is there a way we can add any color in the center image?

I like the guy on the bar stool, it just seems like it is a bit stringy/thin compared to the logo. That's why I was thinking some color would fatten it up.

I also need to be able to belend it into some of th other skins on the site, so this might pose a problem.

Looks very cool...

might be best to keep the web addy short and simple. makes it easyer for people to remember and look up later.

Are you printing in red on the white shit or white on a red shirt? And what color red do you think?? I kind of like something a bit darker than a bright 255,0,0 red. Do you know what I mean.

The color of my BSR up top of kind of the area I think might look good for color. But what do I know, I am not a graphic person.

Yep it will be red on a white shirt. I have a red around the same color as your BSR. But you know that here on the web colors are not the same. But I think i can get close. I'm shooting the back screen right now. I think everyone will like them. Like i said I will print one for me and send you a pic. I should have it by friday.
