Hey Guys,
Has anyone heard of problems with the fuel tanks leaking on these Harbor Freight Clones? Mine is leaking at the seam on the underside at a place I really cant get to, The Engine is brand new , I was going to return it but Ive already done some slight modification to the case. Ive started looking for another and everyone seems to be out of them. If anyone has heard anything let me know , mine may just be a fluke if its a problem then Im probably going to go with the aluminum keg route.....

Thanks

Jeff:cheers:

Well The tank I have is leaking somewhere I cant get to, I called HF they can get one in 6 to 8 weeks , But I registered on the website you suggested and am waiting on a reply from a few guys who have them. So with a little luck I will be able to get a substitute, TANKS a million for the tip on this website It really helped me out.....

Hey Jeff, Have you thought about taking the tank down to your local radiator shop, getting them to degas it and re-sweat the seam. I have done this with rare fuel tanks before. The new tank you are getting from Harbor Freight may have the same problem after some use, then you would have a spare tank.
Just a thought.

Great Idea Mike !!!

I have a little radiator shop close to my house, I can always use a spare!
Just waiting on parts now from Minichopper of south Cali. its taking a long time to get them:blob_red: Once I get them I can actually finish, test drive, and post some photos:cheers:
