Ok, I've found a complete front set up off of an atv, disc, calipiers, mounts etc... I should have it sometime next week. A budy of mine that has messed around with print cars had an adjustable proportioning vavle that I can turn the preasure down up to 57%. He also has a line lock out,(lock out the rear brake and do burn outs) The way everything looks all I need to do is a little machine work on the front hubs to mount the disc and weld up mounts on my spindles, plumb it all in. The one thing I'm going to try and am not real sure about is I'm gonig to try and use just the master for the rear caliper to run all 3. The only problem I can see is possibly the resevoir not beein large enough. Any thoughts, I may go with a motorcycle front brake master (mounted on handle bars) but really want to stay away from that if I can (no offense Rubicon) I'll post pics as I go through everything.

dtb - I'll only have the lock out in line to the rear caliper. The fronts calipers will work normally. Will probably only decrease the preasure to the fronts by around 25-30%. That should keep the fronts from locking up before the rear does. It will be something if I can get everything set up. The only problem I see is making mounts to mount the calipers up to the hubs. I'm going to take the over to a buddy that has a machine shop and see what he can do with it. If everything goes right I'm hoping to spend less then a 100 on them. I want to run stainless hard line on everything and try to hide as much as I can.

ADVICE...The calipers mount to the spindle bracket...the disk mounts to the hub with a major offset toward the spindle...and you will need flex hose between the frame and the caliper...good luck

Rubicon - I'm coming off of my spindle arm with a bracket to mount the calipers, the off set is the one thing I'm worried about. I think the rotors have enough off an offset now but by the time I get the hub to where I can bolt the rotor up I think I'm going to have to make some spacers. Already found someone to make me up some braided line to run to the calipers. I need to find another line lock though. the one I have is an actuator and I tried tripping it with a 9 volt batt. and it won't hold. I'm going to check into see if a gas valve, or something like that, will hold the preasue to be able to lock out the rear caliper. I go tomorrow and find out if he cast comes off or stays on, the way it feels I think it's going to stay on. Driving me nuts not being able to go to work or do anything. My wife caught me out ib the garage yesterday. She thought I was out there working and just layed into me. Oh well. It's gonig to pretty cool if I can get everything working right.

why not just get a front brake set up off of a 2 cycle go kart??? most of them use front brakes.
