Bar stool seat

wlecome back. maybe this can help. The stool on my BSR was like a rock.
I was looking for something to cover it . Like a bonnet. My boss races miata's for fun. And he was going to throw away the bra from one. So i cut it up and use denim thread and made one. I wish i had a sewing machine but it just took a hour sitting watching Tv. Then i just put some fome on top and slid the new cover over it like a sock. Stapled it on the bottom and bam. Looks like it was done by a pro. And i have the miata embroider on top.

I see you already done something on your seat.
I thought of something today, The boat stores have some cool stool/seats that are form fitting that are used on up scale fishing boats.
Kinda like a comfy exercise bike seat, some have backs, I actually considered one myself, but even though the stools arent that comfy, they stay true to the Bar Stool Theme.
If you added some padding to yours, probably helps a bunch, maybe I'll go that route.

What's up fellas? Some good ideas u got there for the seats. I think having a back on the seat my take away the idea of how it should be but in my case, most of the barstool we have here have backs on them. I was thinking of one with just a slight ridge on the back like the Harley seats have em. I'll give it a try. Aloha!

Aloha Chevy2ride, I'm sure we'd like to see some Hawaiian BSRs...
I imagine one for the beach, with the wide beach cruiser handlebars and sand tires.
I was thinking on making my custom seat with a ridge down the middle, so I could hang on by clenching my cheeks, LOL
Or maybe velcro with matching riding shorts....
I bet BSRs could be big in the 50th state, seen a heck of alot of scooters when I was there 20yrs ago...

Here is a way of gluing your backside to the BSR. Contoured for comfort.

hey have you tried to use the seat cushions (http://www.jcwhitney.com/seat-cushions/c15745j1s17.jcwx)? i think its more comfortable to use that one.
