pfft, sniffles.... would your rather crash and burn of asphalt, or some nice cool slippery ice?
We are formulating some loose rules here in Alaska.
1) no long pants, no sleeves allowed, long flowing scarves are ok.
2) if you are the guy on the rope, you cannot let go unless the rider falls off
3) must be able to prove you can ride with one hand. beer in the other hand is ok, babies are not.
4) If an idiot wants to ride the stool, it's broke
5) never talk about rule #4

There used to be a place called Big Chicken barstools that did just that. They had a bunch of pics on their site of them doing that. They have since gone out of business and the site was down last time I checked.

We ran ours on ice here last year,
we bought some dunlop roundy round dirt tires and studded them. It was actually pretty cool because you had just enough traction to get speed up in the straight and then it would start to break loose on you again in the corners. But it was enough that you could keep it straight.
