You can do searches on the net, ebay, harbor freight, etc.. Just find the stool you like and go from there. Most stools that I've found are either 14 or 15 inch bases. Just a matter of what you want or have to spend on one.

There a blast to build, if you don't have a frame design yet Mike has 2 plans and woodchuck also has plans. They also have alot of the parts that you'll need

I think i am gonna put dirt tires on it since i live in west texas, and they look better, i think. should i let my stooll be able to spin around?

I would take the swivel off, Mike ran his whit it on but then took it off and he said that it was alot easier to ride without the swivel. If you don't know how to do something or have ?s. Search the forum and then ask, everyone wants to help where they can and are quick to give advice. It's a great forum to be a part of. Alot of useful info

I notice alot of auto parts stores, and even a farm supply/hardware store in our area selling barstools too now. I think they are 30 or 4o bucks there. I took the swivel off of mine, and just screwed up through the frame, and into the seat. I never tried it with the swivel, just thought it would be easier to ride without it.
Have fun,

Hey Wayfat it is a bitch to ride with the stool spinning! I use the swivel part to mount everything and then just Tak weld it into place and it works fine.

I agree with Woodchuck, DO NOT RIDE WITH A SEAT THAT SPINS!! (I know, did it since I could not wait to ride...)
As far as parts and stuff goes, I have used ebay ALOT, SmokinJoeRacing even has a few kits that gets you nearly everything you need....
