Before any of you say it I am going to admit it, "I have too much time on my hands!" I recently bought a new generator to run my travel trailer when I go to Talladega. I came with the wheel kit and had 2 wheels on the back and you had to pick up the front to roll it around. I didnt like this, so I bought a couple more tires and wheels and built a rack that would allow me to have 4 tires and wheels, that way it would roll around without having to pick up the front and even my girlfriend could move it.

If you look closely you can see the metal frame I built that allows the 4 wheels, it also lowers it about 2 inches for lower center of gravity (for cornering, of course).

Then last night I was in the shop working on something and saw that I had an extra set of tires and wheels. I got to digging around and found some extra 5/8" hubs and since I used 5/8" bolts to mount my tires and wheels on the generator, I got an idea: I will use some go kart tires and wheels for a cooler look. Now I have another problem, I dont know which set I like better, the rain tires or the slicks:

Now I am thinking of some sort of a cool exhaust. I cant decide on dual chrome tips, or maybe some stacks (like on a semi).

Anyway, let me know what you think?!?!?

Monkey-1,
Coooool Ride I like the slicks look. Does it have steering? What if U put an electric motor w/reostat (to control speed) on & drive it.

Hey Monkey, yah WAY to much time, but it looks coool. The slicks look pretty good. Did you build steering into it? For the exhaust, a SET of stacks coming up on either side would look cool.

Was @ Bristol last weekend...froze my butt for 2 days..watched snowballfights in the pits...and Gordon's real fight @ the end...well...@ Bristol you would have to put a parking brake on it to keep it from rolling down all those steepass hills where you park or camp 5 miles from the track...good stuff

Thanks guys. I do not have steering on the front, but I am going to have to go back and redo it so it can steer. I am also going to have to have some sort of parking brake on it, because it will 'walk' when running. I think I am going to go with the slicks, it just looks meaner with them. When I redo it I might even go wtih some real close fitting fenders over the back tires. Damn, this is all I needed, another project!!
