I have seen stools at the Harley dealership that are 24 inches tall. I am sure someone else must make them too. H-D ones are big $$$. I just cut 4 or 5 inches out of the top part of mine. One I got powder coated and you have to look pretty close to tell. The one I left chrome you can see better, but I need to buff the burn marks up a little. If you are worried about stregth, you could find a piece of pipe that fits snug inside, and weld it up thatway. It would probably be stronger than original.

hey, me again
I just looked on ebay and typed in "bar stool 24" and there were a number of 24" high barsttols. I don't know what you are looking to spend, but they are out there.

Don't mean to hijack BAR-TAB's thread, :cool_dude:
and no disrespect intended towards "wayfat", as I am of large carriage myself. Not fat enough to wear a mumu or anything, but heavy all the same.
I found a a stool with a 14" dia seat, 450lb load. seat height ranges adjustable from 18 to 27" on 18ga legs
Looks like a decent stool for a large man, and the legs don't have the weird bends in them.

I think the torque, or g-force supplied from start and stop might play a little havok with the structure of that stool. Could be altered a little tho.. I think I have it figured out with a few cuts and light bends here and there.. I the stool I have. some of you are going to say hmmmm.
