Got it back together yesterday, only have taken it a couple trips around the yard. I actualy got my wife on it for about 2 secs. I still need to do a couple little things to it but not much. Thinking of recovering the seat in yellow. If anyone looks close at the rear view, it looks like the left front tire is leaining, but it isn't. Freaked me out so I had to look at it. I still can't get my camera to pick up the lights, either the flash goes of or it's too dark.

looks great man. The only pic i can see that you are missing is the one with you in it wearing your BSR shirt.

I'm going to do that, trying to see if anyone has dig. vid. or trying to figure a way to transfer vid to comp. Was sitting on the deck last night talking to my wife and we decided to make one of our coolers (big one) into a small trailer for behind it. She actually got back onto it last night and rode it some, then she got a little brave, a little to brave and got scared when it pulled the front wheels up in second.

Also, to those who've ran both the twist and thumb type throttle. Which one is better and easier, been a few times I've gotten into trouble and couldn't let up on throttle fast enough

I think I'm going to sw to a thumb throttle, theres been a few couple times that its gotten a little away from me and it was hard to shut down because I was hanging on for dear life

Hey Sweav, Nica ride. I'd like to see it in motion. It's amazing how much talent is out there. I have gotten so many ideas from all that I have seen so far. I'm only in the design process right noiw but will be starting one soon. Again, THANKS to everyone for the great ideas.

sweav,
that thing looks wild. I'm thinkin it looks like too much motor for me!
Great job.

You can never have too much motor. Just take it easy on the gas. And if you ever have the need to out run a police radio or helicopter you can always get into it!

Hey sweav, first of all your stool looks real good, i hope you had a fun time building it
I see you are using a big rear sprocket, is it the same 44 tooth sprocket you were using with the last motor you had? Also what size driver sprocket is on the new 125? One more, what is the shift pattern on that motor?
I am asking these questions because my Honda 125 engine, from a trx has a shift pattern of SL-1-2-3-4 and I am using a (13 engine) and (35 axle) and I have a super torquey SL and 1, I can actually take off in the 5th forward gear from a stop with no problems. And I am thinking that I might go to a 30 tooth driven.
How does your stool run? Do you have to shift real quick to keep up acceleration?

hey redneck, the best time was building it. I'm still using the 44 tooth on the axle. Mine is 1-4 w/ a hi\lo box on the side. I don't really have to shift fast except for 1-2 or when I'm getting on it. If I remember right mine has a 16 tooth on the motor, I'll check on it. That gear box must be geared really low. Have you thought about setting up a jack shaft to cut down on the torq. and up the speed.

From what I was told by a service mgr from my local honda shop, he is building a stool w/a 600 cc honda..........will it hold together??????will he ever use that much power???????? will he kill himself trying it out???????

Hey Sweav,
I just saw your BSR on eBay for sale... What a bummer... You have a nice setup with the 125CC engine.
You're going to miss it if you sell it... :(

I dont know what the point of the bigger motor is? i guess unless you want a power to weight ratio of a sprintcar (thatd be scary).
wouldnt the chassis bend from that much horse power?

I was going to put a post about selling it. I know I'm gonig to miss it, maybe it won't hit the reserve. I've got a really small shop and am starting on a mini car (the ones the shriners run in parades) and I need the room. I have more fun building them, but now that you said something, I really don't want to get rid of it. I go in on the 18th to have knee surgery from my little accident with it. Hey Mike, if you go down a few listings, someone has one listed w/ a 196cc honda, you pull it up and it is one of those clone engines. Guesse he seen me put the 125cc and wanted to out do me. The only thing that really scares me is that if it does sell, the person who buys it wil tear it up or even worst get stupid on it.
Matti, the bigger engine is just more fun. More power to screw around with.
