Ironfist104, You know everytime I check out this system someone else has an idea or a design above the previous one I just saw. Don't get me wrong now people............I think all that I have seen so far are great stuff but a lot of u are outdoing the other guy so to say and that's great. We can all get ideas from each other for our personal builds. I know I can say I have been inspired by all of u and appreciate seeing the talents that u all got. Keep it up people and thanks for all the ideas.:thumb:

I use a draw style tube bender big bucks this is an example of it http://www.rmdbender.com/images/RDB-100.jpg
chrome molly is very hard too bend and as for welding it it has to be done with a tig or bronze....and if you over heat it it becomes britle...

Ohhhhh yeah but then how do you get the supports bars in underneath the mainbar work?
If you heat chrome molly up after you weld it,it relives thoes stress's apparently.
btw:whats bronze?

Bronze welding with a torch O'l school welding.....
As for the supor bars I made myself a jig and I tack welded them to the bottom bar first the I placed the top frame on and checked and mesured too make sur that my jig was right then i tacked the top one on....

You can MIG weld chromemoly if ^wall is less than .125 without preheat and post heat. Greater than .125 you would need to preheat and post heat too. There´s good info here....
http://www.lincolnelectric.com/knowledge/articles/content/chrome-moly.asp
same applies for MIG
BTW nice looking barstool I like the suspension a lot

Elvergon,
I looked at that article and I did not see anything about MIG welding CM. The article was about TIG.
Do you have a link for the MIG welding section?
Thanks,
Mike Bean

No sorry that´s the article I wanted to post. MIG is the same, you just need to use that type of wire. I said it cause there´s a discussion over www.weldingweb.com, and people agreed you could burn it ;)
