Intake for B&S

Hey, I'm in the process of building my racer and ran into a problem with my intake hitting the legs of my stool. Does anyone know of a alternative intake that isn't so large that would work with a B&S 5.5hp Intek motor. I would prefer a way to send it out the back which would require a 90 degree bend off the flange and out the back of the stool. Any ideas are great!!!

On the intec you can take the black spacer plate/manifold off it will give you about an inch more room also if you do use this manifold drill the large hol out to 3/4" as this hole is alot smaller than the throat of the carb

Thanks for the help we figured it out. I'll post pictures of the racer when i get it totally done hopefully in the next week or so.
