On my last bar stool racer I used a MCP hydraulic brake kit for a racing go kart, which worked ok. I just mounted the master cylinder down on the frame and hooked it to the brake lever with a cable. On my next bsr I would like to find a one piece master cylinder and brake lever. I seen Georges sales and sevice sell a master cylinder for a mini chopper that mounts up on the handle bars. Any body ever use one of these? One thing that I don't like about them is it looks like the hydraulic line comes out the back instead of on the side. I would like to use the same caliper just a different master cylinder. I think the best thing would be a master cylinder off of a dirt bike. There is 4 questions I have about trying to do this. How can I hook the caliper to the MC? The MC uses a banjo bolt and the caliper uses a nut and a ferrule. What brake fluid would I use? The MC would take DOT 4 and the caliper would take DOT5? I would think DOT5 would work in a DOT4 system but I'm not sure. Would the MC have enough pressure to make a dual piston caliper work, or are you better off staying with a MC matched to the caliper you are using?? Also the caliper takes 2 lines and the MC only has one?? I think I could replace one of the bleeder screws with another 3/16 line fitting and just run a line for there into the other half of the caliper but I am not sure.

Any ideas would be a apperciated
