Heres my first try at a barstool. I built it like our racing chassis. Not real impressed with the handling since its an offset! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=64656&item=7159264471&rd=1 My new ones totally better! Glenn

Glenn, Thats a cool frame but I can see where the off set frameis useless when your sitting 30 inches off the ground. I dont think side to sidewieght distribution is a factor on these things.
I got a question for you. On a 5.5 ohv briggs when you mount a torq-a-verter on it does the unit hang below the engine mount. I have read somewhere that if you put one of these on a BS you may have to raise the engine 2".

Hey CJM,
I run a tork-a-verter on my BSR, and the first time I setup the engine I had the tork-a-verter point downwards. This made for a tight clearance and engine and chain alignment.
I built a second frame and decided to try to mock up with the tork-a-verter straight back this time and it worked. I just had to reposition the frame mounts a small bit and all is good.
After I put back together my old BSR I decided to see if I could fit it the same way. It was a tight fit but worked ok.

Cmj, today was my first using a 5.5 intec. I have to say there better than the Tec. I only had a problem with the air intake! The tav Im not sure of! I simply used a maxitoq clutch on this one!Im pretty inpressed with this Briggs though. Im going to start using them instead. Glenn:P

Glenn, Do you guys sell any HP parts for the 5.5 intec. I just was looking for an air cleaner mainly. Something cool!
About the torq-a-verter I guess I will just have to get one and try it out..

Guys I was able to use our tec. filter adaptor and bolted right up to the intec. I had a 5.5 so thats the only motor I will say it works for! I wasnt able to use the stack filter due to the stool being in the way but I did get a foam filter to cover the carb up.Glenn:P
