I fired up my tec 6.5 today for the 1st time. Rev it up....... pop pop pop ive got a header pipe with an intake filter. I get backfiring. any suggestions

Ya On the end of your header pipe or muffler. Get some perferated metal This metal you but with 16th",1/8th" and 1/4" holes perfed in it, cut to size and weld it to the end of your pipe this will stop or at best reduce the poping:cheers:

what I figured..... I started it with the header only, but have an exhaust tip coming

Im torn between 2 actually..... one is chromed short w a 3 inch outlet, and the second would be perfect if I wanted to go all out with the trick/theme stool I have in mind ???????............ Im at a hault waiting for the coin flip, or some specific part to push me over the edge to one side or the other
