Here is my BarStool Racer so far.... Nothing has changied since theses pictures except that instead of getting the frame painted or powdercoating im brushing it with scotchbrite instead and it look really good!
Im also going to lower the barstool frame, last thing i work for a custom wheel company called Budnik Wheels, so my steering wheel will be a custom aluminum split grip steering wheel. I cant wait till i get it.

Thanks! Yeah the thing i like is that i remember when you were bulding a wheelie bar and you said you could only lean back a little bit, on thsi frame by the time i leaned back enough to have th frame hit the ground i would be on my back.

Here is the next little update, thi is how it looks after i brushed it. If you look in the first pics you can kinda tell the difference but it really looks alot better in person. I also lowered the stool about an inch for comfort.

Photobucket is being weird, i resized the pic and it shows it resized in my album but for some reason it big here. Maybe it will get smaller.

Lots more has happened! I kinda lost faith in it for some reason but now im back! Since my last post i have got wheels and tires, a steering wheel, and i had to cut off the brake mount. (not in the pic) Im going to go for a more conventional one. Kinda like the way Mbean mounts his, i will be welding one on soon. Pics:

Like i mentioned, i work for budnik so the steering wheel is a Original budnik split grip steering wheel. The grip part is real carbon fiber laid on to a steering wheel ring. Very light! The steering wheel is all brushed except for the pockets and the hornbutton. Very lucky for me is that i gto the last carbon fiber grip budnik will ever do. Nice!
Thanks!

In the upper pics it seems that your spindle is not angled, however on thelower ones it seems that the turning radius you have seems to be OK.
Did you notice that? are you comfortable with it?
It´s better to have it nice now before powder coating ;) then to regret later
BTW nice looking frame....

I noticed this too. The angle is fine, and so is the steering radius. And thanks...

Little bit of updated pics, i cut off the brake mount and welded all the holes up, i also welded on the bumper, and got my steering on, got new steering arms ($92!!!!) and got soem new wheels and tires. The wheels adn tires i got are from a friend who races go karts and the wheels are made for a 40mm axle so i have to get those hubs and make a custom spacer. It sounds confusing but when its done it will make sence. PICS:

Well, it seems that the engine mount is going out but that´s k.
PW50? 4 stroke?
If he could get ya an 100 or 125 that will rock.
You could even come up to Mexico and have some racing ;)

All done! Unfortunately you cant seee the blue flake in this picture so it looks black. I actually still wanna get the tierods polished at my work. Other than that it is still fun to drive and everyone loves it...including me!

The steering wheel is awesome. And very comfortable i might add. I use what i call a "jockey brake" I kinda made it look like a jockey shifter but its my brake pedal. You can see it behind the stool.
