I had a question about your barstool. How do you keep your steering shaft in? Especially when you do wheelies! Im jsut not sure because on mine it jsut slides in the support bearing for it but i dont know how to keep it in!

5/8 locking colar on the bottom of the RHS (rectangular hollow section or box section as ud call it)

Well if i put one on the bottom wouldnt the shaft just fall through?

Xtman,

They way we build them here is the bottom of the shaft goes into a small piece of 1" X 1" square tubing. We only drill a hole in the top so it does not fall through.

Now before we put the put man arm on we slip a 5/8" locking collar on the shaft which butts up against the bottom of the steering column and that forms a lock so the shaft does not move.

I have attached a couple of photos to show you what we do here.
