Got another torque converter question, is there any way or any where that I can just buy the front pulley for a torq a verter. The reason that I ask is that I had a customer come into the lawn mower shop that I work in and asked if I had a second to take a look at his go-kart. Well of course me the nice guy I say yeah sure I can proably fix that. Well the guy swaped motors, he went from a 3/4" shaft to a 1" shaft oh and did I mention that he wants to fix it as cheap as possible. Well my moto is fix it like its your own I thought about just shit canning the torq converter he's got and putting a centrifugal clutch on it but thats not how i would want my go kart fixed.

Hey pokchop,
You can bore the hole if you have access to a lathe to 1" and then just run a 3/16" broach through it. I have dont this on the salisbury jr dragster clutches and I am just assuming that you have enough meat to bore 1/8 of each side. I charge about 25.00 labor to do that in my shop. Check around at your local machine shops and see if someone can hook you up
