Kawasaki 305 4-stroke. Under 6000 miles on this motor. I took the motor out of the frame today. A person might need to have someone help them with the wiring. It's all there but I wasn't paying much attension to where it all hooked up. I don't have a clue on what something like this would be worth. What do you guy's think. Does someone want a motor like this. I'm going to go with something I know, Briggs 5 HP. Thanks, boxcar

I think that you should go ahead and use it. It has a good mileage and I don´t think that a B&S 5 hp, could beat that kawasaki ;) You could show us an interesting barstool. If not, you should tell the year so it´s easier to tell the price.
Good luck

I believe its a 1983, but here's a question for you. If I decide to keep it where could I get a wiring diagram to wire this baby up. I marked some of the wires when I took them off the bike but I cannot believe I need all those wires. I need to figure out what wires I need to make this killer run. HELP!!!

Public library. Reference department should have the maintenance manuals. Make a copy (or 10) of the wiring diagram. Enlarge it if you can. Then take a highlighting pen and trace out the wires from the engine to the components that you will need. Say from the alternator to the rectifier. Use one sheet for each component. That way you won't get them mixed up. HTH.........Terry

Hey Boxcar,
I have an almost brand new Tecumseh 6.5 HP with an almost new TAV2 if you are interested in a trade?
I took the engine out of service when I built the new Classic Cruiser with the 125CC.
Let me know...

OK, I don't know what to ask for it. I really don't want to trade. I thought I could get one built with this motor but I need to spend the money doing my basement project. I found a wiring diagram which I blew up and had laminated. I had it running on wd-40 but it should have the carbs gone through. It's a manual transmission, 1 down-4 up. I also have the motor cycle that the motor come out of but it's now chopped up. I cut the motor mount out of it as that's what I was going to use for the barstool. Like I said, I don't know what it's worth. I live in South Dakota so shipping could be a issue.
Any offers:
Thanks, boxcar

I'm very interested, That size would work great for me. I see by your profile your in NY and I'm in SD. How would a person arrange delivery for something like that. You wouldn't by chance have any pictures would you.
