Anyone got toe specs that work well? Mine is starting to dart all over the place at speed. If there is a rut or groove it'll about throw you off to go after it. I had it right before but my sleeve came loose and adjusted it's self. Thanks for any help!

I have found at speeds over 40MPH it helps to toe out your tires this really calms it down:cheers:

I agree with Woodchuck...There are several arguments...some think it should be set up like a car...some like a racing kart....my advice is...its not a car / its not a kart...understand the fundamental principles of steering geometry and what geometry affects what...then experiment..that was my solution...the kart guys said i needed to in...but that is a chassis loading thing and turn in for cornering with a center of gravity 3" off the ground...after every amount of toe-in I started toe-out..a little at a time..and it got more stable as i went...then the caster was the next major improvement...I cut and rewelded 3 different caster settings....it is much better but is not a hands off at 45mph like some say they can do....good luck...be safe

Thanks Woodchuck & Rubicon for the tips. Yea I'm running a little toe in on mine now and it's ok unitl like I said you hid a groove or pass over the crown on the road. You'd better be holding on good or you'll be caught off balance and loose it.

I'll try reducing the toe in incriments to zero or a little out. I have no caster adjustment. During building I played with the caster settings but didn't like the way it would make the cart tend to 3 wheel when turned. Thanks again.
