adamski ... there is no right or wrong way to go with the design. Find a motor and stool of some sort. Throw them on a flat surface and figure it out from there. The wilder the more unique it is. Good luck.

adamski,
I have a honda on mine, and it runs smooth. I just need to pipe the exhaust out the back and make it louder. I think it will work great for ya,

Wayfat...

Cheers 4 the help . I had a look at the muffler on mine, and there is a small pipe comes up from the engine head and gos into the bottom of the muffler itself..... If u cut that pipe... u can the custom the exhaust system the way u want it..... and if its short enouth it should shoot out flames about 5-10 inches long and sound very loud!!!.....lol...... Peace out

Ps.. ave u got a 'tork-a-vertor' or just the regular clutch fitted as i have the clutch...
Thanks

I just have a cent. clutch on mine, and it works great for me. I'm have a large rear sprocket so I have more low end power. I'm a bit afraid of some of the speed some of these guys must be getting. I take tooo long to heal thesedays.

Adamski,

Two things I noticed on your plans:

1. Front square part you attached to your frame, make it a U shape and butt it up to your frame instead of welding a complete square.

2. On your motor mount plate cross support, be sure you have room for the chain to run down the left side of the frame and not hitting on the cross support.

Have Fun!

I'm building mine with a simpler steering design that will require alot less parts and less money and it will be able to turn 360* and pivot on a dime..............but is will not be real good for high speeds over 15mph but will work well in the pits.

Picture a square 1" tube 14" long with two 5/8" bolts 3" long welded at each end, now drill a 5/8" hole in the center of the tube and weld in a 36" solid piece of round stock and mount your hub and steering wheel, with a goose neck design with bushings you can steer the in a full 360*
