Hi guys. I just got from the dragstrip. I was visiting friends in the pits, on the far side of the starting line. Of course I was riding my stool.
One of the workers came over and asked if I'd brought a helmet, and if like to take a run down the track. Wouldn't have to go thru tech or anything, people just wanted to see it. I grabbed my helmet, and drove on up.
Did a burnout in the bleachbox by straddling the stool and squeezing the frame with my feet. Staged, and then ran the 1/8 mile.
Cut a .4141 reaction time
15.3030 1/8 mile E.T. @ 37.15 MPH :hot:
No tach or anything, but using Kartdata2000, looks like I was running about 4700 RPM on a stock ungoverned Tecumseh.
The guy at the turnoff at the end said next time I'd better wear long sleeves.

Very Cool Guy!
I sent in a photo of my BSR to our local drag strip and they would not even consider letting me run the 1/4. I was given some b.s. about insurance.
Oh well, I guess that's life. Maybe one day I will have the opportunity.. I might have to come up to where you are to run..
For now I will just have to run the local neighborhood streets...

When I ran mine all that was required was a helmet, gloves and a leather or fabric motorcycle jacket. The insurance is BullShxx....everyone that pays $7 to enter the property signs their life away on a release form...my gears are 14/42 so my speeds were around 31mph...on nitrous was a little quicker but no faster....good stuff..interesting to hear someone else has a "REAL" time slip...mine is framed with a pic of me with the green light on leaving the line

Hello everybody:
I'm just cranked-up about Bar Stool anything!
I just bought a new (Rocket) stool with a 6Hp stock Tecumseh motor.
I just ordered a header and looking into a K&N filter for it.
I would like to add a nos kit onto it any help here? And where could I get a set-up and what would I have to do to install it? On regular race cars you need a bigger fuel pump etc so it will not go explode etc. How much more power should I see with a nos kit? And how much money for a set-up
I also would like to add a tach for it.
I would like to know who sell's high Performance parts for these things.
I drive a 10.5 second Pro Murcury Capri race car at various race tracks and the Bar stool has become a big hit here in Michigan. These bar Stools will become the next big craze here in the near future. It's funny down South it has becvome very popular for years now.
I would like to see regular Drag Racing for these things at our local drag strip. They run the Kiddy dragsters and I know it would be a big draw for People to see bar stool drags 1/8 mile only. 1/4 is way to long for these things to wind outt.
I would like to bulid a new Stool this winter if I have the time. But for now my Rocket does a great job for me.
Thanks
