Now that the new BSR is running, I am going to need a muffler and I think I am going to have to make up a new pipe.
Anyone got any sources for exhaust pipes / mufflers or how I can fab one up?
My exhaust system currently has a 1" pipe.
Thanks!

I would think the easiest way would be to get on off a street bike and just use the first half. That it bend around and goes straight back. It's a honda 125 right ? Try looking on ebay for one off of a cb 100, 125 or 175. I think they all use the same size.

It's a Suzuki 125, not Honda. I really would like to make a new exhaust and then get a muffler for the end. I am going to need someone that can bend the tubing and put a flare on the end like the original one.
I need a cheap muffler that looks cool and sounds good.

Ah, man i don't know. I'de try a bike shop or a small muffler shop. With as short of a pipe you need i would think it wouldn't cost much. Also when they see what it's going on you might get a freebee.
I find the smaller shops like to do and see stuff like this and try to give you the lowest price they can. Just to see you get it done and done right.

Hi ,I am new to the forum,iwas down at Princess Auto on Friday night,and in there section they had exhaust pipe with a muffler on it the pipe was one inch the muffler was probably 1 1/2 feet long with a tail pipe.This whole assembly was about 5 feet in length but if you use the font section and shorten the rear you could have a really nice deal,and i bet it would sound great as well.I am building mine out of 1 1/4 square tubing and my good friend is building one as well.He works for a sports store that sells mountain bikes and such,so our disc brakes are coming from there.The throttle is going to be used via a mountain bike shift lever that twists like a throttle,and we have one for the brake in the rear thaT WILL WORK THE SAME.Most of all we are hiding all the cables through the gooseneck it has a hollow cetre section that the cable go down inside which ithink will be pretty cool.I am kinda unsure of the wheelie wheels,I have seen pics of guys lifting the front wheels up with a 3.5 hp b/s engine I could not believe it ,but hey it happens .would like to see some pics of some close ups ,brakes ,and steering sections just to see diffrent variations.Ican be reached via email moparmaniac73@mountaincable.net .thanks walkinwounded

Mike. bend the pipe with a slight flare at the end and simply go to the auto parts store or find an exhaust tip online. Go to racers rides and check out my tip. It is a header from a go cart that ive cut and welded twice to get it right out the middle of the platform I added{for standing wheelies lol}

Obviously this is a lot bigger than you need so yours will be much quicker to make.
Rivet it together so that you can replace the center when it finally blows out...
