I found a great way to put the TAV System under the Barstool with full back and forth movment of the motor for chain ADJ.
All ya have to do IS... re-form the bends in the legs out 1.5" and then when you mount it to the frame DON'T set the stool legs down on the frame. INSTEAD make your stool mount tubes 1" taller then put a 1" block in the base of that tube then set your barstool down on it. Pease of Cake!:thumb: This way I found you can put the 6.5HP Power Sport OHV with the gas tank on it and the TAV System with full movment for chain adjment. It's fits like a German Virgen...NIZZ AN TIGHT but it fits this way.

Hey Woodchuck,

A lot also depends on the barstool you are using. On the previous build of the Classic Cruiser, I was able to position the engine under the stool and have plenty of movement front and back for chain adjustment.

I like the idea of bending the barstool legs, but you need to have some kid of bender for that don't you? How did you do it?

Mike I use a Promacam Press Brake to re form the legs You can put the tav under the barstool with out reforming but the cover does'nt fit..The way I'm doing it the Tav cover fits on it with plenty of room for chain ADJ.

I agree about trying to get the cover under the stool. Too much plastic to fit.
