carbon fiber bar stool racer

We just got a raptor brigs motor donated to our university to run on enthnol. I have been building the FSAE race cars for 4 years now heading up the composits. For all you experenced bar stool builders give me a little help here. I need to know pro's and cons to bar vs stearing wheel design and where to get all the running gear from used would be fine too. One of the major things i need is where to get a clutch for this raptor motor cheap.
