The 6.5hp tecumseh works great but actually the 6 horse works just fine too. I cant really tell the difference and the 6 is about 20 bucks cheaper. I bought both on ebay. I think the guy is Willard's small engines? Youll have to yank the gas tank and do something different though. Its too big (and ugly) to go under the seat. You can also get the TAV on ebay. I got one that was never used for $100. The part number is 400841-2
Thats for a 3/4" engine shaft and #41 chain. I have some pictures posted with the same frame, engine and TAV. Ask for a parts list when you get the frame. Mr Penguin

Hello, The frame you are getting is from mike the Big boss of this Forum and he can help you out with all the parts needed to complete it and the cost. I believe when you order your kit you get a list of parts needed to complete it and source list also. I believe he has also a Kit with the parts needed you can order from him!The engine you have chosen a Briggs Animal is one bad little engine! It will have plenty of Hp. It should bolt right on the plate supplied with your frame kit. The TAV you will need depends on the size crankshaft that the engine comes with 3/4" or 1". Check with that engine supplier to get that info from. Then you need to decide what size sprockets you will use! With that engine I would go with a # 41 pitch chain and sprockets rather than the # 35. That engine produces around 8 or 9 Hp. Then select a TAV 2 for the size crank and sprocket size ie.. 1" # 41 Sprocket. Hope this helps and post pics of your build!:thumb:

Hey Greg, I used a Briggs 6.5 InteK that I got off of a Little Wonder Leaf blower @ a yard sale for $100 almost new. That thing was scarey fast...I used a Racing Clutch w 12 T and 54T sprocket. Things you will need ...KILL SWITCH/ HYD. BRAKES/ WHEELIE BARS!!! I sold it to a buddy of mine a year ago and he changed the rear sprocket to a 40T and we clocked it @47 MPH ( NOT w/me on it!)....Good luck with your build!:blob_red:
