well im working on my bar stool and i got a 7.5HP wisconson robin engine for it. i was wondering with 12t clutch and a 57 tooth sprocket what kind of spped am i looking at. i know it wont be extreamley fast but a rough gustmate.
Btw: its my first post, been lurking a while but i had a question that need some answering.

More speed,
Hmm... Good question. I was looking for my GPS last week to take out and see how fast mine was running.
I have a Tech. 6.5 HP with a Tork-A-Verter and a 41T rear sprocket. I think it goes about 40 MPH with the governor on. I think some people get the impression the larger the engine the faster it will go. That is somewhat true, but also it is RPM based and sprocket ratios.
The larger engines will produce more torque which is good for getting out of the hole, riding wheelies or pulling top end with a small rear sprocket. I would try to get a #41 rear sprocket and see how it goes and also remove the governor to so you wind her up.
I know mine goes fast enough for me and I have left my governor intact. Personally I would recommend at least 6 HP for max performance.
You may have some problems fitting that monster under the stool. Keep us posted on your progress.

i know the engine is on the large side. im trying to build from what "good junk" i got around. just happened to have this engine for a rideing lawn mower project but i scraped that idea. ill see how it works if not i know a lawnmower shop guy might trade engines or something. ive had the engine on the work bench and running its got some power. very pickey starting and likes a little choke, wont run without it. i think the carb is in need of a really good cleaning, that should take care of that problem.
im planning to use a split sprocket so i can change the gear ratio easyer. lotta work taking all the hubs and tires off.
sofar i have two options,
Option A: use 7.5hp engine and custom bend legs for the stool and get the seat pad.
Option B: trade engines if possable and go from there.
got about 60% of the frame done, need to start ordering parts and get the other 40% done.
the parts list added up quickley and scared me lol  i should do ok, part here part there.
