I have quick question I hope someone can answer for me. Sorry I'm new to this so this might seem like a dumb question. I have been doing some research on this site and in interested in building a keg gas can. I recently found an old all steel 1970's beer can on Ebay and its pretty nice but it is only 12 oz.(I thought it was bigger when I ordered it) I'm not framilular with how much fuel my stool is going to eat up. Do you think that this will be to small and just a waste to time to make into a tank? I'm planning on going with a 6.5 HP Honda Clone.

Just a guess, but I would think you would only run 5 to 10 minutes with 12 oz. of fuel...Not very much run time for time invested converting this can to a fuel tank.

Thanks thats what I figured :( I thought it was going to work out great since its steel and not aluminum I just wish it was bigger. Anyone have another idea for what I can used this thing for other then a trash can.

Hey Large, The beer can is a great idea! I found a Hinny Keg all steel ...1 Gallon for $16 (full of beer) I am going to use it on an up comming project.Your 12oz. can may be OK, that would give you an excuse to stop every 15 minutes or so to down a COOOOOOOOOOOL one. :cool_dude: :cool_dude:

I just bought a coors light steel keg full of cold beer at wal-mart for six dollars. The keg is 1.3 gallons. Dont know where you live, but check the stores for coors light kegs maybe they sell them there. Cant beat a fuel tank for six dollars with 1.3 gallons of free beer.
