Hello, It depends on what size tires and wheels you are going to use and what the offset of the rims are! Also depends on what you like and how wide your front wheel base is. If your tires are 11.50 X 8.00 X 6" with the rims 10 X 6" with off set of 4". I would add 20" to frame width of 18 1/2" to get a axle length of 38 1/2" or round it off to 38 or 40" . That way you can adjust it a little each way. I added in there 2" of tire to frame clearence. Better to have a little longer axle than one to short! Hope that helps!

What I did to determine my rear axle width was to put the front tires on, put the rear axle on the frame and put the rear wheels on and adjust them so they are as far out as the front.

It worked good for me...

Hello, 11.5 is how tall they are. What width are they. 7.10, 8.00 etc... What type of rims are you getting and what is the offset? I use douglas one piece polished wheels. I am using 10" wide Rims 6" with a off set of 4"! I am using firestone YGN 11.5 X 8.00 X 6 Tires on rear. Two on each side! Dual wheeled!:blob_red:
