 Fixing to start my first barstool racer. Here it is, Pro street cruiser plans purchased from Barstool Racer Supply, 6.5 Honda clone w/ governor removed(custom air cleaner & exhaust I will fabricate), Tav-2, master parts kit purchased from Barstool Racer Supply, new wheels and tires purchased off eBay, and checkered stool purchased off ebay. Also just bought a Hobart Ironman 210 Mig to make it all come together (had a 90A 110v mig). I'm a Deputy Sheriff that works around 80 hours a week; therefore, it will be a slow build. I will get some pics posted when I have a chance. I also have a mini keg I plan on making a fuel tank with. Any ideas where I can get about a 1" bung and cap to weld in it?

Here is a link to a cool bung with an aluminum cap. It is about 1.75" in diameter.

Many other race car shops have these with the cap in colors...I used one of these in my race car rear end assy. Would work for your keg tank, if the keg is made of steel. They are also available with an alumimun bung if your keg is aluminum.

Post some pics with your progress.

Hello, Great looking forward to some pics of your Build!! You could put lights and siren on it and it would be a Pro Street CRUISER!! LOLO:rofl: I would not mind that much if I was pulled over by a BSR Patrol Viehicle! LOL. It would make a great patrol car for parks, beach fronts, etc.. Maybe you could get the sherrif to have you build a fleet of them!! LOL Any way good luck on your build and post lots of pics.:thumb:

I remembered the ones I was thinking about that are in colors for the caps
go to the PRO-WERKS section of the online catalog page 39 of this link:

I think these look better than the others...

The motor is a honda klone. The intake is custom w/ a 22mm mikuni carb. The governor has been removed, and a custom header also made. The steering is bearings from a bicycle that I made fit into square tubing.

Looking very nice. I take it the colors will be black and white! Definately need to keep the Sherriff theme!

The rear sprocket is a 40 tooth, and dont remember whats on the tav (ill have to take a look at it). Still undecided on the colors. I have been contemplating the sheriff theme.
