i purchased a used set of wheels and tires off of ebay, great price and when i received them they had about half there life left
but when i finished the mock up of my stool and took er out for a "spin" (this is an intended pun as you will see) every thing was bitchen until i went to test out the brakes, well it slowed down just fine until i really got on the lever and locked it up, holy lord i almost went on my head, the a$$ end jerked violently to the right:eek2: and ended up 90 degrees to my original direction, i regained my composure and gave it some gas and thought to my self "ok i must have hit some oil or something" so a little ways down the street i decided to test out the brakes again, DOHHHagain this time a complete 180 and then up on 2 wheels with a foot slap to the ground:dizzy: , i admit to a bystander it probably looked hilarious but for me it was a sore foot and a damaged ego. come to find out the 2 rear tires are different compounds:eek2:  ?!?!?!?!
so when you buy some used tires make sure they are the same compound.
just a little helpful tip from your buddy Brett
