Hey all I just wanted to put this out there. My BSR Shop has received alot of e-mails and phone calls about the differant price on MY bsr's and outlaw's Barstool Racers. I'm not sure what is up but I have been asked why the outlaw.net boys want 5000.00 or more for one of there racers when I can sell the high quality racers I have for between 850.00 and 2500.00 for a complete unit depending on set up. I tell them the outlaw boys make a nice product and they feel it's worth it. I picked up a used outlaw racer this past week just to see what the high price was all about and the only thing I can think of is outlaw pays retail for all there parts. I had to stop working my full time job 2 weeks ago just so I could keep up with the orders. I have sold to date 232 complete BSR's and still growing for 2006. I also buy direct from the manufactures in big QTY.'S to save $$$ on parts. we do not buy from a wholesalers we go to the Manufactures For the big savings. Any thoughts on complete pricing this lets hear them:cheers:

LOLOLOLol....

I´d say every shop charges what they think it´s neccesary...It also depends on how much they pay for parts...

Some is just the Brand name...

I like your site, and I like you´re spreading the BSRing around the world...

I wish I could start selling BSR´s here in Mexico...That´d be the best thing that could have happened to me...

You and Mike are an inspiration to follow...Now that I got my MIG...I´ll see if I can get a TAV BSR which needs no skill for switching between gears...maybe people would be more interested in that...

Happy you´re selling BSR´s!

Hey WoodChuck, I think you offer a good product for a very fair price!!! I saw an Outlaw Racer this Summer @ a car show , it was very nice and had all the bells and whistles , but I could not see the $5,500.00 Price Tag!!!I I have one to build that I just sold, all the usual stuff...6.5 clone w/TAV2...Hyd brakes...Diff rear end ...Burris Treaded tires...Powder coated frame....@$2,400.00...Local sale/no shipping cost . I guess everybody set their prices where they need to be!!!:thumb: Snakester
I will make a nice profit for 30 hrs.working in my garage!!!

Hello, I agree with the others here. You make a nice BSR for the price and I would buy yours before ever paying 5,500.00 for one of thiers. Not to say that thiers are not nice and built very good but yours is great quality also!! I am also trying to get some sales started here in Texas which will be around the same price as yours!! Keep up the great work and Good luck !! :thumb:

Hey Woodchuck,

If I remember correctly don't the Outlaw BSR's have a lot of upgrades on them you do normally get on a standard BSR, such as the Briggs Animal Engine, TAV, Disc Brakes plus more?

I am sure if that is the case and you start adding the cost for parts, it is not that they pay retail for the parts, it is just the stuff they put into them.

I do agree that $5000 for a BSR is a bit high, but if you want all the goodies and you cannot build your own, they you have to dig deep in your pockets for the Outlaw BSR.

Yeah Mike I agree they put some nice options on ther machines. I just started getting calls and e-mail the last couple of weeks, most of them just checked into the outlaw stool but didn't want to drop the coin on one. Not for nothing but it's all about how crazy ya get when building. I sold a unit last summer for 6200.00 but that had a 38HP Liq. cooled shifter motor on it with disc brakes on all for tires a Keg cooler wagon and a bunch of other shit on it. The customer could wait to give me the money:thumb:
And the best part about that sale is I exported it to Brazil. How's that for getting this sport spead around?:cool_dude:
