I am building an electric barstool for my firstattempt and now I am now down to the tires and rims. First off I love the fat tire look of the BSR pictured. Does anyone know what size they are and where to get them from?? Terry

I am using the drive unit out of one of those 3 wheeled carts old people drive. Figure the top speed to be 6 to seven MPH. Will be great for the grandkids. Next on the agenda is a five HP with Comet drive for me. Then I have a Honda 70 w/electric start to build a tandum two seater out of. 4 speed and all. You guys should have never showed me the first one. You woke up a monster.:D....Terry

I am a new member but not new to this insanity. In response to your electric BSR I have a wagon. It is aluminum diamond tread plate with kart tires, 875watt 4 pole scooter transaxle, wheelchair gel cell batteries, Curtis Instruments programmable controller and variable speed throttle pot. I take it to auto swap meets and such to haul parts. I have ridden it ( sitting in it like a kid ) for several weeks around the neighborhood without recharging and I have logged on the ( bicycle speedo / odometer ) 25 miles total before recharging It ran @ 8mph for the first 7miles then as the battery voltage settles down it was @ 6 mph and 22 volts. I may be able to share some good stuff on this subject including fabrication and wheel mounting bushing designs. I have obtained wheels and tires from several sources from cheap to new and reasonable. Good Luck
