you may be the only other guy in the world other then me with a push mower.

My kid is 12 and his job is to mow the lawn. I have a power mower (a walk behind) and he used to get out of mowing the lawn on Saturday mornings by telling me he couldn't get it to start, or it ran bad, or ... just one excuse after another. I showed him how to prime the carb and all that kind of stuff to get it started, and he'd claim ignorance, and that it was impossible, ....and then I'd get it to fire right up as soon as he left to go play with his friends.

So i went over to HomeDepot a few weeks ago and bought a push mower and came home, gave that to him, and locked the power mower up in the shed. Now a couple weeks later, he's running to me telling me how awesome that ol' power mower was, how he is so great at working it, how all the belly achin' is over, and can he have that one back again???.

I told him maybe next summer. :P

I told him I might make a mini BSR out of THAT engine too, and then he'd NEVER get it back.:)

Funny, he didn't seem to think that was as funny as the mom and i did

Bm1 You run Eldora? I know its asphalt Sprinter, but have you run there? I live 9 miles from the track. Love the place.

I ran dirt for about 20 years. If you race a sprint car and haven't run Eldora....you haven't raced a sprint car. I ran all over Ohio, Pa. In. WOuld go to Fla for Speedweeks in Feb. I love sprint cars. They're just too cost prohibitive for me right now. I built a brand new asphalt car two years ago and never even fired the motor yet. You better have your mind right when you go to Eldora. That place can "bite" you in a heartbeat. Scarey fast....but fun.
