I will have the paint and the entire kart finished with custom the fits a 24 liter rubbermaid cooler capabable of a holding 50 beers with ice. We will be able to manufacture this beauty if you want one. Also one question. Has anyone seen a Barstool gokart with suspension intsalled on that front steering column? Should be easy to do right? Please show me a pic of one if you have one. My Kart uses the animal engine with rally car rollcage tubing for the frame. The guy who helped me make this kart is a pro in rally rollcage design. It looks much sturdier and stronger than these other karts I have seen. Well I am excited to share it with you all and look forward to download the pics soon. Final questions, Wha kind of turning radius do most of the karts have. Mine seems to be a little too big but my builder says if its too small it could be dangerous. Also I want more torque, maybe be able to pop a wheelie. Right now I hav about 68 tooth and 13 in the front. My builder said it will ruin the clutch if I go too small. What is a more lower end torque rear i should use that would not hurt the clutch too much? Whattaya think?

If you use a smaller rear sproket (less tooth count), you will kill the torque at take off, but your top speed will be higher. If you want more torque for a wheelie, then you need a bigger (more teeth) rear sprocket. One of my BSR's uses a 12 tooth clutch with at 68 tooth rear gear, it will pop wheelies at will. Some of the ease of pulling a wheelie is the weight transfer and the location of the weight in relation to the rear axle.
