Well, I guess I'm commited to this thing now. :eek2:
I bought a 6.5 hp stearling engine on E-Bay last night, plus the Masters Parts kit from BRS. I have the Classic Cruiser plans in my hand, and 48 feet of tubing in the garage.
I was worried about my bar stool, it only measured 13.5 inches center to center on the legs.:dizzy:
I laid out my 1x1 square tubing at 15 inches and it was too wide, the stool wasn't on the frame.
So I put the Kung-Foo-Grip on those legs and spread them out to 14.5 inches. Now I can actualy go with 15.5 inches in width.
I also plan on going about 3 inches longer than the 34 inches the plan says. I want a bit more room up front.
So the extra 1/2 inch in width and the 3" in lengh should help some.
I really want the engine to fit "whole" I don't want to have to remove the gas tank or anythng else.
So I guess till all my parts come, I'm at a standstill.:sleeping:
Any good advise?????
